Farmer, House, Osuna & Olvera Obtains Summary Judgment in Webb County

Congratulations to Wm. David Farmer and Chad W. Schreiber for successfully obtaining a summary judgment in Webb County, Texas arising from a windstorm/hailstorm claim. The suit alleged contractual damages and also sought extra-contractual relief under the Texas Insurance Code, the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and the common law.  The issue before the court concerned whether the completion of the appraisal process and timely payment of the final award by the carrier precluded any further recovery under the claim. Chad W. Schreiber successfully argued the motion before Judge Monica Z. Notzon.
