Farmer, House, Osuna & Olvera Obtains Summary Judgment

Congratulations to Ruben J. Olvera for obtaining a summary judgment in a premises liability case filed in Bexar County, Texas.  The Plaintiff filed a lawsuit after slipping and falling on the premises of a local retailer and suffering two (2) fractures. After several depositions, a no evidence motion for summary judgment was filed and heard in District Court. At the hearing, Mr. Olvera argued that there was no evidence that the premises owner had actual or constructive knowledge of the alleged dangerous condition. After considering the motion, the evidence and arguments, the Court granted summary judgment and dismissed all of the Plaintiff’s claims.
